Tyson began his career in the Healthcare Industry as a Medical Assistant at the Carle Cancer Center working first hand with doctors and nurses who were in the process of adopting a new EMR system. From there he went on to work for Varian, the EMR vendor, and traveled all around the US, and parts of India, training doctors and nurses at some of the most well known cancer centers in the US. This experience was critical in shaping his commitment to quality and service as he moved into the operations and implementation spaces within the Healthcare IT field.
While working at the New York eHealth Collaborative Tyson was part of a team that built a statewide Health Information Exchange using the InterSystems HealthShare platform. Ready Computing was a key vendor and partner in this success.
Tyson has participated in and managed multiple data center migrations, including cloud migrations into AWS.
